Happy Friday loves! I hope your week has been great and that you’re ready for the weekend ahead. It is starting to feel more and more like fall here in the mitten and let me tell you, I am so excited! A small part of my heart breaks when summer is over, but fall happens to be my favorite season so I’m always so geeked for this time of year. Not only that, but this fall is especially important because that means baby girl will be here in just a few short months!
Speaking of baby girl leads me to today’s post and that is talking all about the perfect baby book I came across a few months back. That being, Write To Me which is an Australian company that offers a variety of books, journals, calendars, planners and the list goes on! Something that really drew me in to this company and their baby book products is the fact that there are numerous options to choose from when it comes to finding the perfect book for little babe. Some of their options include: The First Year of You, The First Five Years, Raising You, 21 Years of You and so many more! They also have journals where you can write your pregnancy journey as well as a ‘Mama’ book.
I ended up going with The First Five years book because I loved the amount of information and memories that are included in this one. This journal starts from the very beginning of pregnancy (when you found out, who you told, your first ultrasound and soo much more!), and goes all the way to five years old. The fact that it included items such as grandparent information (age, baby will call them, their wish for baby, etc.), aunts & uncles, pets, their first home, their first Christmas/holiday, etc. It even includes key events such as: baby shower & who attended, your birth story, visitors in the hospital, your first month home, etc.
So, as you can see this book really does capture just about every important memory and event that you could want/imagine for the first five years of your little babes life. Not only does it give you so much room to write special words, but it also allocates spots for pictures that can be included as well which was something that was really important to me. Lastly, my favorite thing was the sleekness of this book (and all of their books to be honest). I didn’t want something that was going to be super bulky and take up a ton of space so the fact that this book covered just about everything I could imagine on writing to baby girl about and still have it be nice and slim was definitely a win in my book!
